Borislav Angelov is an architect and designer based in Boston. He was born and raised in Varna, Bulgaria. He received a Master of Architecture degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Architecture + Planning, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Medal. He has collaborated with architects and student think-tank groups in Chicago and Cambridge. His professional experience includes time as a designer at Hammersley Architecture in Chicago, Anmahian Winton Architects in Cambridge, working in Paris at Oualalou+Choi, and an extended period at Höweler + Yoon.  Borislav was a teaching assistant to prof. Larry Sass and worked as a research assistant to Meejin Yoon for two-and-a-half years while at MIT. He has been an invited critic for studios in Chicago and in Boston at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Borislav is currently an architectural designer at Touloukian Touloukian Inc.

Pauline Shongov is a PhD candidate in Film and Visual Studies at Harvard University, pursuing a secondary field in Critical Media Practice. Through media archaeology and visual ethnography, her research centers on the material, oral, and affective histories of place. She is particularly interested in ruination studies, landscape theory, experimental cinema, and hybrid documentaries of the Balkan space. Her work has been supported by the Harvard Film Study Center, Harvard Presidential Scholars, and the Cornell Council of the Arts.

Maya Shopova is an architect and co-founder of Collective Home Office, a collaborative architectural practice that emerged from her graduate thesis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to her Master's degree, she received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from McGill University and worked as an architect at diverse design practices in North America and Europe, including Bjarke Ingels Group in New York and Studio Rosa Barba in Berlin. Her research focuses on housing, historical preservation, as well as collaboration and authorship within architectural practice and design pedagogy. Maya has been a guest critic at Rhode Island School of Design, Columbia GSAPP, University of Toronto, and as part of a teaching fellowship award, she has taught and co-taught several design studios and workshops at the MIT School of Architecture and Planning. More recently, she has taught at McGill University School of Architecture and is currently pursuing her architectural license at DS+R.
